Programme
Lessons take place in Borovets and are organised around the package you choose, your level, the conditions in the ski area and the goals of the course.
Lesson formats:
- 2 hours, 1 day: from 10:00 to 12:00.
- 4 hours, 1 day: from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00.
- 2 days: 4 hours a day, from 10:00 to 12:00 and from 13:00 to 15:00.
- 3 days: 4 hours a day, ideal for building up your technique more steadily.
- 4 days: 4 hours a day, with more time for corrections, practice and confidence.
- 5 days: 4 hours a day, the most complete format for step-by-step progress.
What we recommend:
- 3 consecutive days: for skiers with some experience who want to progress, iron out mistakes and gain confidence.
- 5 consecutive days: for more substantial progress and a more lasting change in technique.
- One-day course: for focused work on specific skills, corrections or getting back into skiing.
Organisation
Location: Lessons take place in Borovets. The prices shown apply to this ski area only.
Approach: Every course takes an individual approach to the participant. Specific needs, expectations and mindset are discussed in advance.
Preliminary consultation: For new participants, an initial meeting can be arranged in Sofia to discuss important details and decide on the best approach. If that isn’t possible, the consultation can take place on site before the lesson.
Questionnaire: New clients may be sent a questionnaire that helps clarify important details and specifics. Filling it in is voluntary and confidential.
Equipment: Ski equipment is not included in the price. If needed, you can hire equipment from Barzena Ski – skis, poles and ski boots for BGN 40 a day.
Transport: Transport is not included in the price. On request, a return trip Sofia – Borovets – Sofia can be arranged for BGN 45.
Safety: During the lessons we follow the safety rules, the rules of Borovets resort and the core FIS rules of conduct on the piste.

How many people do the prices cover?
Prices are for 1–2 people. A third person pays a supplement of BGN 50 per hour.
What isn't included in the price?
The price does not include a lift pass, insurance, ski equipment or transport.
Can I hire equipment?
Yes. You can hire equipment from Barzena Ski for BGN 40 a day. This includes skis, poles and ski boots.
Is transport provided?
Transport is not included in the price, but a return trip Sofia – Borovets – Sofia can be arranged for BGN 45.
How is the right course chosen?
Before the lessons, we clarify the participant’s level, expectations and specific needs. If needed, there is a preliminary consultation or a chat on site before the lesson.
