more about the experience

What to expect

Get ready for an 8-day, ladies-only ski adventure in the Salzburg province – 6 ski days in some of the world’s best-known ski resorts. The programme combines great skiing, spa time and relaxation, and plenty of fun with the girls.

  • Skiing in 5 ski areas, including the Kitzsteinhorn glacier in Kaprun – over 1,200 km of linked pistes and some of the most beautiful views in the Alps.
  • A cosy atmosphere – a family-run hotel in Saalbach itself, close to the gondola, with a spa and excellent reviews for its food and service.
  • A ladies’ group and relaxed evenings focused on shared moments, great skiing and Alpine charm.

Programme

Each day we’ll explore different pistes across these ski areas. The programme is flexible and can be adapted to the weather and the group’s preferences.

Day-by-day ski programme:

  • Days 1–4: Saalbach-Hinterglemm lies in the Glemmtal valley in the eastern Kitzbühel Alps and is one of the largest ski regions in Austria. Together with neighbouring Leogang and Fieberbrunn, it forms the “Skicircus” – over 270 km of linked pistes between 830 and 2,096 m, served by nearly 70 modern lifts. The terrain is varied and well balanced – ideal for a ski safari – with gentle, sunny blue runs on the south side of the valley for beginners and steeper freeride terrain on the north side for more experienced skiers. The valley is also known for its unique “amphitheatre” shape: the slopes on every side run straight down towards the centre, so it’s easy to get back to the village at any time of day.
  • Day 5: Zell am See sits picturesquely on the shore of the lake of the same name, at the foot of the Schmittenhöhe, and has been one of Austria’s best-known resorts since the early 19th century. The Schmittenhöhe ski area offers around 77 km of pistes between 760 and 2,000 m, served by nearly 30 lifts, with a well-balanced mix – around 30 km of blue, 28 km of red and 19 km of black runs. The resort is part of the joint “European Sports Region” together with Kaprun and the Kitzsteinhorn glacier, which gives you a wide variety of terrain – from easy family runs to more challenging descents. The panorama from the top, looking out over the lake and the Alps, makes Zell am See one of the most beautiful places to ski in the whole of Austria.
  • Day 6: The Kitzsteinhorn Glacier is the highest point of the Kaprun region – 3,203 m above sea level – and the only glacier ski area in the province of Salzburg. The skiable area offers around 40 km of pistes between 900 and 3,029 m, and thanks to the glacier it guarantees excellent conditions almost all year round – from October to May, and in places even in summer. The terrain is mostly suited to beginners and intermediate skiers – wide, well-groomed pistes with guaranteed snow, ideal for relaxed, confident skiing. The panorama from the top, at over 3,000 m above the whole valley, makes the Kitzsteinhorn one of the most impressive places to ski in Austria.
