A kids' ski school in Borovets for young skiers of every level, from complete beginners to advanced. Children are split into small groups by level, and lessons are led by qualified instructors experienced in teaching children.

Programme
Every ski day follows a clear plan, so there is enough time to get ready, ski, rest and travel back to Sofia at a relaxed pace.
Schedule for each ski day:
- 07:20: meet in Sofia
- 07:30: depart from Sofia
- 09:15: arrive in Borovets
- 09:15 – 10:00: get ready to ski
- 10:00 – 12:00: ski lessons
- 12:00 – 13:00: lunch and rest
- 13:00 – 15:00: ski lessons
- 15:00 – 15:40: change boots, have a snack and get ready to leave
- 17:00: arrive in Sofia
Organisation
Where we ski: The ski school is in Borovets. We have a warm, cosy base close to the ski area, where children can rest and eat.
Groups: Children are split into small groups by skiing level. Advanced groups have up to 6 children per instructor, and beginner groups up to 5 children per instructor.
Transport: We travel Sofia – Borovets – Sofia every day by minibus.
Main departure and return point: behind Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, in front of the “Katedralata” café, on the roundabout itself.
Alternative point: in the morning – the OMV petrol station at the Pancharevo exit at 07:50; in the evening – Lidl opposite the OMV at around 16:30.
Equipment hire: If your child doesn’t have their own equipment, they can hire it from Barzena Ski. Hire of skis, poles and boots is €13 a day. With a helmet as well, the price is €16 a day.
Personal kit: For the day, your child needs a small backpack, a packed lunch in a lunch box, suitable layered clothing, a helmet, goggles, ski socks, two pairs of gloves, a hat and sun cream with UV factor 50.

Who is the ski school for?
The ski school suits advanced young skiers and complete beginners alike. Children are split into small groups by skiing level.
What is the minimum age?
The minimum age for group lessons is 4. For younger children, aged 3–4, we recommend private lessons.
Which languages can the instructors speak with children?
Children who speak other languages are very welcome. We can talk with them in Bulgarian, Russian, German and English.
What isn't included in the price?
Food, the lift pass for children over 7 and ski equipment are not included in the price. Children bring food from home, and equipment can be hired separately.
How do booking and payment work?
To book, fill in the form for your chosen package. Once we receive your request, our team will reply by email. The course fee is paid by bank transfer within 3 days of booking.
Can I change the date?
At the package prices shown, you can change the date once, to a new date no more than 2 weeks from the date originally chosen.
