What to expect
A week devoted entirely to skiing — in some of the largest ski areas in the Alps. You spend most of your time skiing La Plagne and Paradiski – the hotel is within walking distance of the gondola that takes you there. And for one or two days we head over to the Trois Vallées — Courchevel, Méribel or Val Thorens — just 20 minutes away by minibus, depending on the group’s mood.
You stay in a family-run 3-star hotel with home-made Savoyard cooking, an open fire in the lounge and its own sauna — the kind of place where you feel looked after from the moment you walk in. Evenings end with shared dinners by the fire, laughter and stories from the day on the slopes. And that’s not all..
All the transport — from the airport to the hotel and back, plus every journey between the ski areas — is in one and the same minibus, with no changes and no third-party transfers. At the pace and mood of the group. Milena Barzanova, the group leader, personally takes care of the luggage, ski equipment and logistics from/to Bulgaria.
This is the second edition of the “French” ski safari and the 4th season of the Ladies’ Ski Safaris with Milena Barzanova — and every time the same thing proves true: you set off to ski, and end up creating something much bigger. Every woman who joins naturally becomes part of a community — women who support each other, share their favourite sport and laugh together by the fire or around our shared dinner table. If you’re coming on your own, you won’t be alone here!
Programme
What to expect — Day-by-day programme
Day 1 — Arrival
Flight Sofia → Milan Bergamo. Milena meets the group in person with the Barzena Ski minibus — with all the luggage and equipment on board. Transfer to Champagny-en-Vanoise (~5–6 hours). Check-in at Hôtel Les Glières, welcome dinner and a chance to get to know the group.
Days 2–4 (3 days) — La Plagne & Paradiski (Ski-in / Ski-out)
Skiing straight from the hotel’s doorstep — the gondola is literally right there, with no transfers and no waiting. Wide pistes and high-mountain panoramas in some of the largest ski areas in the Alps.
Day 5 — Courchevel + Méribel
A short transfer (~20 minutes by minibus) takes the group to the Trois Vallées. Two of the most luxurious resorts in the world — in a single day.
Day 6 — Val Thorens
The highest resort in Europe — guaranteed snow right up to the last ski day.
Day 7 — Departure
Breakfast, packing, transfer to Bergamo Airport and the flight to Sofia.
Note: the programme may change depending on the mood and rhythm of the group — one of the six ski days may be an extra day in La Plagne/Paradiski, or a spontaneous adventure to Val d’Isère + Tignes if the group decides so. Either way, there will be skiing on 6 of the days.

In total ~€72 return. The flight times allow a relaxed transfer to and from the airport.
Luggage logistics
Milena Barzanova meets the group in person at Bergamo Airport with the Barzena Ski minibus — carrying all the participants’ luggage and ski equipment. You travel with hand luggage only — quick, light and easy, with no heavy bags or ski bags to haul through the airport.
The journey from the airport to Champagny-en-Vanoise takes around 5–6 hours. On ski days, whenever transport is needed, we use the same minibus — available throughout the stay.
⏰ On the way back, we leave for the airport early in the morning — your luggage must be packed and ready the evening before.
Accommodation
Hôtel Les Glières — a family-run 3-star hotel in Champagny-en-Vanoise, within walking distance of the gondola to La Plagne and Paradiski. Home-made Savoyard cooking, an open fire in the lounge and its own sauna.
Meals
Half board — breakfast and dinner every day, with home-made Savoyard cooking in the hotel restaurant. The lounge with its open fire is the place for evenings after skiing. Meals are included in the package price.

This ski safari is for ladies only. It suits participants who want to ski one of the largest ski areas in the world, explore different resorts and share the experience in good female company.
How is the programme chosen?
The programme can be adapted to the weather, the snow conditions and the group’s preferences. The aim is to make every day as rewarding as possible, both for the skiing and for the experience.
How do I book?
Early-bird price: €1,790 per person — when you book with a deposit by 15 Sep 2026.
Regular price: €1,890 per person — for bookings after that date.
Your booking is confirmed with a deposit of 50% of the price, and the balance is due by 20 Jan 2027.
Places in the group are limited — the sooner you confirm, the better the price and the more certain your place in this edition.

You stay in a family-run 3-star hotel within walking distance of the gondola, with half board (breakfast and dinner) every day. Most of the skiing starts right from the hotel’s doorstep — La Plagne and Paradiski are within walking distance of the gondola. For the day in the Trois Vallées you travel by minibus — around 20 minutes, relaxed and stress-free.
The flight, lift pass, insurance and personal expenses are not included in the package price.
