more about the experience
What to expect
An 8-day ski adventure in Tyrol awaits you, with 6 days of skiing on different glaciers depending on the weather and conditions. The programme combines ski safaris, visits to interesting places in the area and a true Alpine atmosphere, so every day is as full as it can be.
- Skiing on Tyrol’s six glaciers with varied terrain, altitudes and challenges.
- Visits to interesting places in the area after skiing, led by people who know Tyrol from the inside.
- A cosy Alpine atmosphere with time in the spa, delicious dinners and good company.
Programme
We’ll ski for 6 days, choosing the ski areas according to the weather and conditions to give you the best possible skiing experience.
Day-by-day programme:
- Day 1: Stubai – Austria’s largest glacier ski resort, with 110 km of pistes, including black runs such as Daunhill that will test your skills.
- Day 2: Hintertux – Austria’s only year-round ski resort, with 60 km of pistes and a summit at 3,250 m. It is known for its long runs and steep sections, ideal for experienced skiers.
- Day 3: Tiefenbach and Rettenbach, Sölden – glacier pistes above Sölden, with 34 km of runs and a link to the resort’s 144 km of pistes. The black Rettenbach run is a challenge for the brave.
- Day 4: Another ski area of our choice – not a glacier, but open by then. There’s plenty to choose from: Ischgl, Serfaus, Obergurgl, Mayrhofen. We decide on the spot, depending on the conditions.
- Day 5: Kaunertal – 55 km of pistes, the most remote glacier (70 km from our base), with varied terrain and a true skiing spirit. It sits on the border of Italy, Austria and Switzerland.
- Day 6: Pitztal – 41 km of pistes at altitudes of up to 3,440 m, with technical runs and excellent conditions for high-altitude training. A panoramic café-restaurant with views of the Wildspitze.
